A water maker is something we deliberated on for quite some time, and there is no yes, you must have or no, you'll never have issues answers. It's a question of whether you are willing to trade dollars for convenience or potential fuel savings on searching for water. It's not an issue in the Great Lakes of course, but when we arrive in the Bahamas, water is a valuable commodity that must be purchased by the gallon at considerable cost.
