Our Boat

Our boat is a 2003 Canoe Cove 42. We purchased her from the original owners in November 2020 while she was in indoor storage in Penetanguishene, Ontario. She was a custom built boat as Canoe Cove stopped building these smaller boats in the early 90s, but the owner had a Canoe Cove previously and so Canoe Cove agreed to build one for them. The owners did a terrific job finishing the inside with lots of teak, and they enjoyed the boat for almost 18 years.

The boat has an aft cabin, with an ensuite head/shower. There is still space for a cockpit behind it. There is also a sizable salon, with a lower galley forward, day head, and a forward cabin. We have made a lot of modifications to make this our looping boat including adding solar panels, upgrading the inverter, changing to lithium batteries, adding a bow thruster, adding a washer/dryer unit, adding a bimini over the aft deck, and adding a water maker.
